Dental Technician
Dental & Maxillofacial Surgery
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, fabricate and dental prosthetics, appliances, and restorations including dentures, crowns, bridges, and orthodontic appliances.
- Prepare impressions, casts and models of patients' teeth and oral structure as per the specifications.
- Select, prepare and work with various dental materials including metals, ceramics and plastics for fabricating dental prosthetics and appliances.
- Operate and maintain various dental laboratory equipment.
- Inspect and test dental prosthetics and appliances for quality, accuracy and functionality.
- Work closely with dentists and other healthcare professionals for treatment plans.
- Maintain and troubleshoot dental equipment, instruments, and prosthetics.
- Follow infection control protocols to prevent the spread of diseases.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Diploma/Certificate in Dental Technician from a recognized institute with 2 to 3 years of relevant experience
- Good Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
