Assistant Manager - Ward Services / Ward Administrator

Ward Administration

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the day-to-day administrative operations of the ward to ensure smooth functioning.
  • Coordinate patient admissions, transfers, and discharges in collaboration with clinical teams.
  • Ensure effective bed management and optimal utilization of ward capacity.
  • Ensure patients and attendants receive appropriate guidance and support regarding hospital procedures and services.
  • Address patient or family concerns and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
  • Ensure proper maintenance of patient records, registers, and administrative documentation in the ward.
  • Monitor compliance with hospital documentation standards and regulatory requirements, including internal & external audits.
  • Monitor the availability of ward supplies, equipment, and consumables.
  • Prepare and submit reports on ward activities, patient statistics, and operational issues to hospital administration.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Preferably MBBS/ BDS / BS or MS in Allied Health Sciences / BSN or MSN / MHPE with preferably a Master’s Degree in Hospital Administration with 5-7 years of relevant hospital experience in ward administration or clinical operations.
