Assistant Manager / Manager
Operation Theatre
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the allocation of the Operation Theatres (OT) in accordance with the approved theatre allocation schedule.
- Monitor, supervise, and train OT Technicians and CSSD Technicians in coordination with surgical specialties.
- Ensure that all equipment is functional and ready before allocating the OT to end-users.
- Plan and maintain adequate staffing in the OT to meet patient care needs.
- Maintain records of procedures performed, theatre time utilization, and end-user feedback after each list.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, and accreditation requirements related to OT services.
- Ensure readiness of the OTs for emergency procedures and manage critical situations effectively.
- Ensure adherence to infection prevention protocols and proper disposal of biomedical waste and sharps in accordance with hospital and regulatory guidelines.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Preferably MBBS / BDS/ BS or MS in Allied Health Sciences / BSN or MSN / MHPE or equivalent qualification with 5 to 7 years of relevant work experience, including 2 to 3 years in a supervisory role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Urdu.
- Strong problem-solving, decision-making and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
