Role Overview: The Assistant Proctor is responsible for ensuring a peaceful and disciplined environment on the university campus. This role involves regular monitoring, enforcing student conduct policies, and addressing disciplinary issues to uphold the standards of Air University.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Social Sciences, Administration).
2 Years of relevant Experience.
Conduct regular rounds of the campus to maintain a peaceful atmosphere and ensure adherence to Air University policies.
Deliver presentations in classrooms regarding student discipline rules and regulations, including the Student Code of Conduct and associated penalties for violations.
- Monitor and enforce adherence to the university''s Code of Conduct across various campus areas, including libraries, canteens, common rooms, and study areas.
- Identify and address breaches of the Student Code of Conduct, recommending immediate disciplinary actions as needed.
Evaluate disciplinary cases and determine appropriate sanctions for students who violate the Code of Conduct, ensuring that actions align with university policies.
- Conduct inquiries into incidents of student indiscipline, including interviewing involved students and relevant witnesses.
- Supervise investigations into alleged breaches of conduct, coordinating with reporting authorities, departmental heads, student coordinators.
- Communicate findings and recommendations to the Chief Proctor, departmental heads, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate records of disciplinary actions and investigations for review and compliance purposes.
