The HKPFS aims to attract top global doctoral candidates to pursue PhD studies at Hong Kong's world-class universities with high financial stipends.
Established by the Research Grants Council (RGC) of Hong Kong, the HKPFS provides top international PhD candidates with financial support to pursue doctoral studies in Hong Kong.
Eligibility Criteria & Requirements
- Must demonstrate outstanding academic excellence, research ability, and leadership.
- Must meet admission requirements of the host Hong Kong university.
Financial Benefits & Coverage Breakdown
- Annual stipend of HK$331,200 (approx. US$42,400) for up to 3 years.
- Conference and research-related travel allowance of HK$13,800 per year.
