The Chevening Scholarship is the UK Government’s fully funded international scholarship programme for emerging leaders. Pakistani students can apply for the 2027–28 award to pursue an eligible one-year Master’s degree in the United Kingdom.
Applicants must be citizens of an eligible country, hold an undergraduate degree that qualifies them for a UK Master’s programme, have at least two years of eligible work experience equivalent to 2,800 hours, and meet the other Chevening eligibility requirements. Applicants must also apply to three eligible UK Master’s courses and obtain an unconditional offer from at least one selected course by the required deadline.

Financial Benefits & Coverage
The Chevening Scholarship provides full financial support for eligible one-year Master’s study in the UK. Benefits include payment of tuition fees, economy return travel between the scholar’s country of residence and the UK by an approved route, monthly living or maintenance allowance, arrival allowance, departure allowance, UK entry-clearance visa application cost, contribution towards TB testing where required, and a travel top-up allowance. The living allowance is intended to help cover basic living costs such as accommodation, meals, personal expenses, phone bills, daily travel and required course resources. A higher stipend rate applies for scholars in the London metropolitan area.
