National Aerospace Science& Technology ParkHomeJobsContact Us Job DetailsApply for this JobDepartmentUnmanned ForceJob TypeContractualStationNASTP KamraGenderBothLast Date to Apply04-09-2026Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated QMS engineer to join our dynamic team on full time basis.Job Responsibilities·        Develop and implement quality management systems tailored to the Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) industry, ensuring compliance with relevant standards and regulations.·        Conduct thorough internal audits and assessments to evaluate the effectiveness of quality management processes and identify areas for improvement.·        Collaborate with engineering, production, and other departments to integrate quality control measures into UAS design, development, and manufacturing processes.·        Monitor and analyze quality metrics and performance data to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards of product reliability and safety.·        Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and records, to support regulatory compliance and traceability.·        Provide training and support to staff on quality management practices, ensuring that all team members understand and adhere to quality standards.·        Manage the resolution of quality-related issues and non-conformities, implementing corrective and preventive actions to address and mitigate potential risks.·        Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulatory changes in the UAS sector to ensure that the quality management system remains up-to-date and effective.Qualification·        Master’s degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Electrical Engineering or a closely related field.·        Knowledge of UAV components and systems, including propulsion, flight control, and structural design.Experience·        10 years of relevant experience in QMS is required·        Experience managing engineering projects, including planning, execution, and coordination with cross-functional teams.Skills·        The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the design, development of Quality Management System for new UAS.·        Understanding of UAV regulations, standards, and compliance requirements.·        Relevant certifications (e.g., Professional Engineer (PE) license) or training in UAV technology or project management can be beneficial.·        Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment and provide mentorship or leadership to junior engineers.
