Job Description & Overview

Job Description: Oversee daily mining site operations to ensure smooth, efficient, and uninterrupted execution of project activities. Supervise site personnel, departmental teams, and contractors to ensure compliance with operational plans, company policies, and project requirements. Coordinate with project management, security, administration, logistics, and technical teams to achieve operational targets. Monitor workforce deployment, equipment utilization, material availability, and site resources to ensure effective operational performance. Implement site security procedures, emergency response plans, and operational safety protocols in coordination with the relevant departments. Prepare daily operational reports, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and report progress, challenges, and incidents to senior management. Ensure discipline, effective communication, and adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across the mining site. Identify operational risks, resolve site-level issues, and recommend improvements to enhance productivity, cost efficiency, and overall project performance.
