National Aerospace Science& Technology ParkHomeJobsContact Us Job DetailsApply for this JobDepartmentSpace DivisionJob TypeContractualStationNASTP Alpha RawalpindiGenderBothLast Date to Apply07-09-2026Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Manager – SATCOM Antenna Development Systems to lead the development, engineering, manufacturing, integration, testing and deployment of Antenna, RF Front End, and associated Signal Processing Systems operational on Pakistan Satellites and in associated communication bands (S, X, Ku and Ka).Job Responsibilities·        In a team lead role, candidate is to design, develop and execute project modalities (SATCOM Digital / RF & MW / Mechanical / Industrial / hardware) for SATCOM Antenna Development (Parabolic / Phased Array, Amplifier and Waveguides).·        Review and approve antenna, RF, electrical, mechanical and mechatronics design.·        Analyze all hardware / material requirements for all processes involving in SATCOM Antenna Development.·        Perform EM Simulations for Tx/Rx properties of design / developed SATCOM Antennas.·        Visit Industry for Manufacturing and associated process (cutting, filling, grinding, bending, welding, grooving, painting etc.) and requirements·        Involve in end-to-end fabrication of antenna and ensure Qos of product.·        Identify risks and establish mitigation strategies.·        Perform testing with SATCOM Network and collaborate with National / International satellite service providers·        Maintain/ create necessary engineering / technical documentation of developed Antenna systems.·        Identify emerging technologies and market venues for indigenous development and localization of antenna technologies.Qualification·        MS/ME in Aeronautical / Electrical / Electronic / Telecommunication / Wireless communication, Digital Signal Processing with a minimum CGPA of 3.0 and Major Field GPA of 3.5.Experience·        03-05 Years in the field of SATCOM Systems.Skills·        Proficient in Industrial Manufacturing, Signal Processing, RF & MW Techniques and concepts involved in SATCOM Antenna Systems.·        Must have knowledge of MATLAB / GNU Radio, Solid Works/ CATIA, HFSS/FEKO/CST and understanding of RF systems and equipment i.e., VNA, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Antenna RF front end devices, RF Transceivers and SDRs (USRP, Vector transceivers)·        Must have knowledge of engineering documentation and configuration management tools.·        Must be familiar with assembly, integration, testing / validation of fabricated SATCOM Antenna Systems.·FYP/Thesis:Wireless digital communication / Satellite communication with emphasis on Antenna system design in SATCOM, Solution Optimization, Assembly, Integration, Testing / Validation.Additional Notes·        The hired engineer will undergo a 2-3 months training period during which the engineer will be on probation.
