Job Description & Overview

Job Description: Manage day-to-day financial operations, budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for the mining project. Prepare and review financial statements, management accounts, cash flow reports, and monthly financial performance reports. Monitor project expenditures, operating costs, capital expenditures (CAPEX), and operational expenses (OPEX) to ensure effective cost control. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliations, payment processing, and general ledger activities. Coordinate with procurement, project management, and operations teams to monitor project costs, vendor payments, and financial commitments. Ensure compliance with applicable tax regulations, statutory requirements, company financial policies, and accounting standards. Assist in internal and external audits, financial risk assessments, budget variance analysis, and implementation of effective financial controls. Support senior management in financial decision-making by providing cost analysis, financial reports, budget updates, and recommendations to improve project profitability.
