National Aerospace Science& Technology ParkHomeJobsContact Us Job DetailsApply for this JobDepartmentSpace DivisionJob TypeContractualStationNASTP Alpha RawalpindiGenderBothLast Date to Apply07-09-2026Job DescriptionWe are seeking a highly motivated and technically capable Electrical / Electronics engineer specializing in RF & Microwave engineering to support the design, development, characterization, testing and qualification of ground based (parabolic / phased array) antenna systems for satellite communication.Job Responsibilities·        Design, analyze and develop RF & Microwave sub-systems i.e., Parabolic / Phased Array systems, feed assembly, filters, amplifiers, waveguides, attenuators, etc.·        Perform RF budget computations for developed antenna systems.·        Meet link budget for end-to-end successful link over Satellite Network.·        Perform RF simulations and electromagnetic analysis of design / developed systems.·        Well conversant with International standards of EMI/EMC and interference limits.·        Involve in end-to-end fabrication of antenna systems.·        Perform testing with SATCOM Network and collaborate with National / International satellite service providers·        Generate test reports and engineering documents.Qualification·        BS/BE in Aeronautical / Electrical / Electronic with a minimum CGPA of 2.7 and Major Field GPA 3.0Experience·        01-03 Years in the field of SATCOM Antenna Systems.Skills·        Strong theoretical background in hardware and software components of SATCOM systems especially SATCOM antennae.·        The ideal candidate will have experience in satellite communication payloads, satellite ground station systems, communication bands i.e., S, X, Ku and Ka Bands with experience / knowledge in satellite antenna development.·        Proficient in MATLAB / GNU Radio, HFSS/FEKO/CST, Satmaster pro.·        Strong theoretical background in RF & MW with understanding of RF systems and equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, Antenna RF front end devices, & RF Transceivers).·        Must be familiar with assembly, integration, testing / validation of fabricated SATCOM Antenna Systems.·FYP/Thesis:Wireless digital communication / Satellite communication with emphasis on Antenna system design in SATCOM, Solution Optimization, Assembly, Integration, Testing / Validation.Additional Notes·        The hired engineer will undergo a 2-3 months training period during which the engineer will be on probation.
