Job Description & Overview

Applications are invited from interested candidates for recruitment on contract basis for the Project Management Unit (PMU) for the project titled “Lahore Wastewater and Drainage Management Project (LWDMP) – Sewerage System from Larechs Colony to Gulshan-e-Ravi Lahore (Through Trenchless Technology)” to be funded by Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB). The required Qualification for each post is mentioned hereunder: B.S or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering from HEC recognized university registered with PEC with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

Eligibility Criteria & Requirements

Assist the Manager (E&M) in related tasks to accomplish the goals of project.• Responsible to supervise all unit activities related to electrical works pertaining to design.• Work closely with consultants and contractors to ensure efficient project design and implementation.• Prepare and coordinate the project plans, schedules and presentations and comment on the design, scheduling and suggest possible cost savings measures. • Ensure implementation of the approved program of work and coordinate for removal of bottlenecks, if any• Provide coaching and mentoring to team and individuals and ensure their on-going learning and development.• Ensure compliance of relevant conditions of contract through consultants.• Review and scrutiny of cost estimate and variations.• Formulate SOPs for different components of TBM operation.• Arrange regular training for the staff.• Supervise activities on SCADA system.• Develop equipment maintenance plan according to SOPs / O&M Manual.• Assist Manager (E&M) in providing technical directions for design and implementation of the project• Any other task assigned by the Manager (E&M) during the project
